Sometimes called “solid hydrogen peroxide”, soda ash comes from an association between sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide. Once in the water, it breaks down to give on the one hand sodium carbonate (or “soda crystals”) which degreases, increases the pH of the water and makes detergents more effective, and on the other hand hydrogen peroxide, known for its effective whitening and disinfecting power. Non-toxic to the environment, soda percarbonate is much more environmentally friendly than bleach or Borax. Very effective on organic stains, it will be ideal as a complement to your ecological detergent for white, as a stain remover before washing but also for dishes, to remove stains and make them shine. Properties: Releases “active oxygen” on contact with water
